ELLISVILLE, MS (WDAM) -

Jones County Junior County Junior College once again hosted the annual Future Business Leaders of America Southern District Leadership Conference.

Thursday, 785 students from the coast to the capitol competed in various events to include computer problem solving, marketing, personal finance, and business communications. They also had the opportunity to show their skills in job interviewing, and public and impromptu speaking.

"This conference allows you to find certain goals you want to achieve in life, because that's what FLBA is all about," said Sara Beth Hyde, V.P. FLBA Southern District. "It's about giving you an opportunity to better yourself in life and find an occupation that you'll be fitted for later in life."

During the lunch hour the students were treated to a performance by Jones On Stage.
