MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) -
The most anticipated decision has finally been made. Auburn High School's top-ranked linebacker, Rashaan Evans, has made the choice to play for the Alabama Crimson Tide.
Evan's recently narrowed down his top three choices to Auburn, Alabama and UCLA. The highly touted player is the second five-star recruit from Auburn High School to commit to play for Alabama in the last two years. In 2013, Reuben Foster left the Plains for T-Town.
Evans is almost universally considered the top linebacker in the nation for his class.
High school athletes across the country have been announcing their choices all morning. The decisions began coming out around 7 a.m. WSFA 12 News will continue to keep you updated throughout the day on social media. You can follow us with using the hashtag #FEVER12.
