MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – The result you've been waiting for is in: Gabby the Sea Turtle has picked the Denver Broncos to win this year's Super Bowl.

Before you ‘shell' out your life savings on a bet for Denver to beat the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday, know that the record for the Ripley's Aquarium's green sea turtle is spotty, at best. For the past three years, the 300-pound turtle has made her choice for Super Bowl winner, and so far, she's only picked one winner correctly.

Will Gabby get it right this year? Tune in on Super Bowl Sunday and find out.

Ripley's Aquarium, located at 1110 Celebrity Circle, features 10,000 exotic sea creatures from more than 350 individual species.

East Marion volleyball finished 20-5 a season ago, falling to the eventual state runner-up Resurrection in the first round of the playoffs. The Eagles are hungry for more in 2017. "They have that fever," said sixth-year East Marion volleyball coach Mandell Echols. "They want to take [Resurrection's] place and end up winning the championship."
