Three Shelby County children who were the focus of a nationwide amber alert have been found safe in East Texas.
The East Texas Center for The Missing tells KTRE that 3 year-old Ivan Alvarado, 1-year old Paola Alvarado, and 16-year old Viviana Alvarado were found safe at around 6 p.m. in Tenaha.
The children were reported missing last Thursday in the Tenaha area, and authorities said they might have been in the company of an adult male.
Officials have not said if that man had been found or if any arrests have been made.
