Blueprint Mississippi Pathway to Progress Tour stops in Hattiesburg
HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) -
The Mississippi Economic Council is on a mission to helping the state achieve top-tier ranking among Blueprint states.
MEC’s Blueprint Mississippi Pathway to Progress Tour made a stop in Hattiesburg on Friday. Attendees were informed on the states progress and also polled throughout the 90-minute session.
Some of the mayor talking points included education, industry and transportation. The tour will continue its 19 city tour across Mississippi and focus on ways the state can sharpen its competitive edge by implementing the goals and recommendations of Blueprint Mississippi. Their next stop will be in Laurel January 28.
