HHDA holds annual awards luncheon

HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) -

The Historic Hattiesburg Downtown Association held its annual meeting and awards luncheon Thursday at the Historic Train Depot.

During the luncheon, President of the association Tom White, recognized all 2013 Board of Directors. As several attendees enjoyed their entrees, a presentation of the 2013 Annual Report was given by Vice-President Grant Walker.

The last presentation was given by Board of Directors Catherine Price. Price presented the annual award for Volunteer of the Year, Leadership, Philanthropy and Promotion of the Arts.

The event concluded with the introduction of the 2014 Board of Directors and Executive Director.

Thursdays luncheon included featured speaker MS Film Office Deputy Director Nina Parikh. Parikh spoke during the event about the film industry and Mississippi.
