(RNN) - No matter who you're cheering for in Sunday's NFC Championship Game between Seattle and San Francisco, you should be a fan of one person - Derrick Coleman.

The Seahawks fullback is deaf. And he's also a pretty good player.

He was barely on anyone's radar before his commercial for Duracell went viral, but he has been the lead blocker for Marshawn "Beast Mode" Lynch all season.

Coleman had a solid career as a tailback at UCLA, but he went undrafted and converted to fullback when he signed with Seattle.

With the help of hearing aids and lip reading, Coleman has adapted to life in the NFL without a hitch.

"It basically spread the awareness, not just for the hard of hearing and deaf community, but for everybody, no matter what," Coleman said of the commercial, which was nearing 6.5 million hits on YouTube as of Saturday. "Everybody has problems, but we can still do what we want to do."

Your face here

If you can afford the trip to Sochi, Russia, for the Olympics [can you take out loans on your kids?] then one thing will make the trip worth it.

No, not watching world-class athletes compete with each other. We're talking about the digital "Mount Rushmore" at the MegaFon pavilion.

The exhibit takes photos of people's faces, and within minutes creates a 3-D image on a wall nearly 30-feet high. Think of it as an enormous pin wall.

You can also watch video of the engineering team at Asif Khan's architecture firm testing the wall here.

Green criminals

Hostage situations are no laughing matter, especially when the kidnappers don't recycle and don't show up to the exchange on time.

We could say more, but at this point you're either intrigued or repulsed enough that we can step away at this point.
