State Senator recognizes FCAHS for football state champ title

The Forrest County Agricultural High School Aggies led past Lafayette County with a score of 21-6 back in December, leading the Aggies to win the Mississippi class 4A state championship.

It was the Aggie's first state championship in school history. It was also the team's first appearance in a state title game. State Senator Billy Hudson, who is an FCAHS alum, recognized the football team at the state senate in downtown Jackson on Wednesday for their achievement.

Dr. JJ Morgan, Superintendent of FCAHS was also present at the recognition ceremony. He told Seven on your Side that he is extremely proud of the team, and he's happy they were recognized at the senate for their achievement.
