Local alternative rock band releases new album

LAUREL, Miss. – This week, independent record label Tate Music Group is happy to announce the official release of 49 South's new album titled "Ramblin' About."

Laurel-based rock group features four talented artists namely Shelby Kemp, Casey Butler, Donald Malson and Donny Malson. Each of them bare the same dream of making it big in the music scene and sharing their talent to the rest of the world. Although the members have diverse backgrounds in music, they were able to fuse their differences and came up with a sound uniquely their own. Their influences in music include Pink Floyd, Aerosmith and The Beatles respectively.
