Antioch, TN (WSMV) -

The search is on for two men in connection to a robbery that happened early Monday morning at an apartment complex in Antioch.

The resident said he was confronted by two masked men when he went inside his home at Pinnacle Pointe Apartments on Baby Ruth Lane just before 4 a.m.

Police say there was a struggle, and the man was pistol-whipped, causing minor injuries to his face.

The men robbed him before leaving the scene.

Police say they think the suspects pried open a locked door to get inside.

The first robber is described as a black male who is 6 feet tall and was wearing a black hoodie, a black ski mask and blue jeans.

The second robber is described as a black male who is 5'8" and was wearing a black coat, a black mask and brown boots.
