Winter weather impacts Memphis flights

At Memphis International Airport, Delta Airlines, United Airlines, and U.S. Airways canceled or delayed Memphis flights from Chicago, New York, Detroit, and Houston. At Memphis International Airport, Delta Airlines, United Airlines, and U.S. Airways canceled or delayed Memphis flights from Chicago, New York, Detroit, and Houston.

(WMC-TV) - As a blast of winter weather moves across Tennessee, airlines are delaying or canceling flights to and from Memphis because of difficulties with ice and snow around the country, according to The Associated Press.

At Memphis International Airport, Delta Airlines, United Airlines, and U.S. Airways canceled or delayed flights from San Antonio, Atlanta, and Chicago.

Flights on Delta Airlines, destined for Nashville International Airport and Indianapolis for Monday morning have been canceled.

    After losing the first two games of the season by a combined five points, Collins has won 12 consecutive games to advance to the class 2A South State title. The Tigers (12-2) defeated Bay Springs 22-8 on Friday to advance to a south state matchup against Taylorsville (13-1). Collins scored twice in the fourth quarter to overcome the Bulldogs on the road. "I feel great," said Collins head coach Eric Booth, a former USM running back.
