(WOIO) -

We're welcoming 2014 with a snow storm!

A snowy day ahead, as the system that is overhead will take all of the day to push out and then change to lake effect. When it's all said and done greater Cleveland could see 4-6"of new snow, farther east 5-6" the Canton area around 2-4".

Friday afternoon we get a little reprieve and get a little sun/cloud mix. This clearing will take us into Saturday and is short lived as the next snow storm will move in Saturday night and Sunday. Monday morning commute could be tricky because this system carries a lot of moisture so it has the potential to leave us with more inches of new snow. [View the 7-day forecast HERE]
