Remembering the Pine Belt: Alma Nib West

"This is my aunt Alma "Nib" West! She was one of ten children! My father is the baby! She was so much more than an aunt! She was our Rock! She helped raised my dad and uncles after our grandfather died. So for some of us she was a grandmother! She has a beautiful daughter and two gorgeous grand daughters that was absolutely her life! I know this has been a hard year for my uncle and cousins! This is the last picture I have of us together! I was a nail tech and she would come set me straight ever so often! This was the best Christmas present I received! I had forgotten about it and found it Christmas Eve night!! This is her fun loving personality and I wanted to share her with you all!! God bless and Happy New Year!!!"- Wendy Ladner
