Remembering the Pine Belt: Terry Lynn Posey

Terry Lynn Posey passed away April 1, 2013. He was a beloved father, son, and brother. In 1961, he received a blood transfusion at birth and contracted Hepatitis C. Throughout many adult years, Terry gave blood to help people in need. It wasn't until 1993 that we were notified about Hep C. We traced his contraction back to his blood transfusion as an infant. He later developed Cirrhosis and died, at a young age of 52, from many complications. He will forever be loved and greatly missed.

We love you, daddy! - David N Tara Murphy

Following a school-record 55 wins and run that ended in an 8-7 loss in the NJCAA national championship, Jones County Junior College softball is eager to open the 2018 season on February 3. Coming that close to the school’s first national title serves as motivation enough for the Lady Bobcats. Regardless, expectations are always high for coach Chris Robinson’s teams – JCJC is a combined 105-12 the last two seasons.
