Remembering the Pine Belt: Zoey Annmarie Jordan

"Zoey Annmarie Jordan! She was born March 25th 2013 and passed away September 1st 2013 at 5 months old. She was the sweetest baby had a bright personality for a baby she loved to be rocked and bounced and loved her big sissy maelee more than almost anyone and she loved to eat chocolate. She passed away on a Sunday morning after waking up and eating she was taking a nap with her daddy and she stopped breathing. Our family miss her so much. Christmas has been so hard without her. She truly impacted and changed all our lives. Mommy misses you Zoey girl."- Jessica Holder Jordan

    After losing the first two games of the season by a combined five points, Collins has won 12 consecutive games to advance to the class 2A South State title. The Tigers (12-2) defeated Bay Springs 22-8 on Friday to advance to a south state matchup against Taylorsville (13-1). Collins scored twice in the fourth quarter to overcome the Bulldogs on the road. "I feel great," said Collins head coach Eric Booth, a former USM running back.
