KNOXVILLE, TN (RNN) - Tennessee scored 41 points per half and had almost no problems beating Morehead State 82-67 at home on Monday.

The Volunteers (7-4) dominated most of the game, only once being down to the Eagles (8-6) by a single point early in the first half. Tennessee scored more than half of its 61 field goals, six of its 12 3-pointers and 12 out of 23 free throws. Morehead State only outscored Tennessee on free throws, making 13 out of 20.

Josh Richardson led the Vols with 19 points. Sophomore Derek Reese led with 10 rebounds in his first action of the season.
