Several items seized from Hattiesburg High School burglary suspect

HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) -

Another arrest has been made in the recent string of burglaries at Hattiesburg High School.

HPD arrested a second juvenile in this case, who has been charged with commercial burglary.

Several items stolen have been recovered; however, many have still not been found.

Sixteen ipads were stolen form the school's library in OCtober and in the past few weeks, mac laptops, and apple computers were stolen. A master key- which was used for entry by the their, has been recovered and locks at the school will be replaced.

New security cameras were added, but HPD said this is an on-going investigation.

"If anybody has any more information, because as you can see, this is definitely not all we are looking for. There is a lot more up there that we are looking for, so any information anyone can give, call Crimestoppers or HPD or Hattiesburg public schools resource officer, and we'll take that information and see where it leads us to," said Hattiesburg Police Department Public Information Officer Jon Traxler.

You can call Crimestoppers at 601-582-7867.
