JACKSON, Miss. (AP) - A woman has been sentenced to three months house arrest for using a stolen identity to get health care benefits.
Christy L. Roberts-Hinton was indicted in July on two counts related to the identity theft and making a false statement in a case originating in Simpson County.
The indictment says she used a date of birth and Mississippi Medicaid number that didn't belong to her.
She pleaded guilty to one count in September in U.S. District Court in Jackson and was sentenced earlier this month.
