Hattiesburg Salvation Army distributes Angel Tree gifts

HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) -

More than 1,800 children will have gifts under the Christmas tree this year thanks to the generosity of people in Hattiesburg.

The Salvation Army of Hattiesburg held their annual Angel Tree distribution day on Friday. Officers directed traffic as hundreds of families stopped by the center to pick up their children’s gifts.

Although every angel was not adopted this year, thanks to generous donations, every child received the gifts on their Christmas list.

The Salvation Army of Hattiesburg helped a total of 950 Angel Tree families this year.
