BATON ROUGE, LA (RNN) - After winning a close game on the road, LSU is looking to play the first of four consecutive home games on Saturday against University of Alabama Birmingham.

The Tigers (7-2) narrowly defeated Texas Tech on the road last Wednesday when the Red Raiders made a last-minute charge to close a nine-point deficit. LSU made more than half of their field goals in that game but were outscored in 3-pointers and free throws by Texas Tech.

Johnny O'Bryant III leads the Tigers with an average 14.6 points per game. Jordan Mickey comes in second with 13.9 points per game.

The Blazers (9-2) are riding a five-game winning streak, including an upset win over then-No. 16 North Carolina. Their most recent win was against Chattanooga last Wednesday, when UAB made less than half of their field goals, six of their 17 3-pointers and 11-of-16 free throws.

Chad Frazier leads the Blazers with an average 18.8 points per game. CJ Washington is in second with 14.1 points per game.

Tipoff at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center is at 5 p.m. ET.
