JCJC alumnus donates in memory of JCJC instructor and mentor

ELLISVILLE, MS (WDAM) - Laurel native and Jones County Junior College alumnus, Chris Hill made another donation to his mentor and JCJC instructor, Dr. Paul Hollomon's memorial scholarship fund recently.

The Computer Information Systems Technology division chair and instructor died suddenly almost one year ago.  Hill's employer, Microsoft also matched his $1,500 dollar contribution towards the scholarship.

At Jones, he was the Student Government Association President and played football while majoring in CIST. The Laurel High School graduate served in the Marine Corp for four years before graduating from JCJC in 2006.  Hill is currently employed as an associate consultant for Microsoft's Private Cloud department in Charlotte, North Carolina.
