Man robbed of guns during arranged sale

HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -

Two people were arrested after police said they robbed a man of two handguns he had arranged to sell online.

The victim told police he had corresponding with someone to sell two handguns that were listed on a website called Armslist. They had arranged to meet in the Gander Mountain area to carry out the transaction.

While waiting in the parking lot Monday afternoon, the victim received a phone call from the party confirming he was there. Moments later, a silver vehicle arrived, occupied by two males who exited and approached the victim.

One of them pulled a gun and held the victim at gunpoint while the second person entered the victim's vehicle and took two Glock handguns.

Investigators were able to track down 18-year-old Deangelo Oneal and a male juvenile. They were arrested and charged with first-degree robbery.
