Police investigate a man found injured in the 800 block of West 47th Street. Police investigate a man found injured in the 800 block of West 47th Street.
SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

Savannah-Chatham Metro Police responded at about 2 p.m. Tuesday to the 800 block of West 47th Street where they found an injured black male near a Volvo.

SCMPD's Julian Miller said the man was taken to Memorial University Medical Center with very serious injuries.

How the man was injured is not yet known. It may have been a car accident, but it is still very early in investigation and police are not ruling anything out, according to SCMPD.
