Woman tells officers she was raped while learning to drive

HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -

Huntsville police are investigating an overnight rape.

It happened around 4 a.m. Tuesday on Mastin Lake Road. An 18-year-old woman told officers that she was with a male friend who was teaching her how to drive his vehicle when he forced her into the back seat and attacked her.

The woman was treated for minor injuries at Huntsville Hospital and released.
