Sex crimes charged to Guntersville man

GUNTERSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -

Marshall County Sheriff's investigators arrested a Guntersville man on Monday afternoon and charged him with sexual abuse and second-degree rape.

David Michael Coronado, 62, of 8954 Warrenton Road, Guntersville remains in the Marshall County Jail this afternoon with no bond, according to a press release from Sheriff Scott Walls. 

The reported victim in this case is less than 16 years of age.

The investigation began after a report was filed with MCSO and the Alabama Department of Human Resources, the sheriff said.
