JONES COUNTY, MS (WDAM) - An Ellisville man has been sentenced to serve 12 years in prison for the 2012 Memorial Day death of his cousin.
Roderick Deloach pleaded guilty to manslaughter, and a judge sentenced him to 20 years, with 12 to serve.
Prosecutors said Deloach got into a fight with his cousin, Tim Hardy and police found Hardy collapsed in the yard. He later died in a hospital from a stab wound to the chest.
