LIMESTONE COUNTY, AL (WAFF) -

Early Tuesday morning, the Limestone County School Board held a special executive session meeting. The meeting was closed to the public.

Superintendent Tom Sisk said the board reviewed the process they have to go through in order to fire someone. The meeting was called at the request of the school board attorney.

The meeting comes just one day after the principal of the Limestone County Career Technical School was arrested on theft charges. Mickey Glass turned himself into the Limestone County Jail Monday night.

In November, Glass was placed on paid administrative leave while an auditor completed a report on the school's finances. Both the Limestone County Sheriff's Department and the FBI assisted in that investigation.

District Attorney Brian Jones said Glass is accused of using a school account to buy items he would then either sell or keep for himself.
