A college football coach donated $10,000 to Extra Table. Extra Table, a movement to end hunger, founded by Robert St. John of Hattiesburg, will be coming to the Gulf Coast in 2014.
Megan and Dan Mullen, head coach at MSU, and The Mullen Family 36 Foundation recently donated $10,000.00 to Extra Table.
Raven Tynes, executive director at Extra Table, is working hard and planning before they make the move to the Gulf Coast.
Extra Table exists to end hunger, according to Tynes.
By partnering with Sysco, Extra Table is delivering healthy and nutritious foods to food pantries and soup kitchens at below wholesale prices each month. Tynes added that Extra Table makes a point to feed hungry people healthy foods.
