Howard Industries donate gifts to hundreds of Salvation Army angels
LAUREL, MS (WDAM) -
Howard Industries donated gifts to 193 angels from The Salvation Army of Laurel Angel Tree Program on Friday.
Along with its Angel Tree Program, the Salvation Army also puts together Christmas dinner boxes each year for families in need. Aside from adopting 193 angels, Howard Industries along with the help of Piggly Wiggly in Laurel were able to provide 550 bags of corn meal and 1100 boxes of macaroni and cheese to the Salvation Army.
With the help of Howard Industries, various other companies and residents, Lt. Stacey Connelly said The Salvation Army will be able to provide Christmas for 750 children this year.
