Weekend stabbing in Columbia, suspect still at large

COLUMBIA, MS (WDAM) -

In the early morning hours of December 7, Columbia Police responded to a stabbing call at 1004 West Avenue.

The victim was allegedly stabbed by Tony Tarrel Newton.

The victim was transported to Forrest General Hospital and is expected to recover.

Newton remains at large.
