The Bassfield Yellowjackets are trying to add to their program's illustrious history with another 2-A state title tomorrow, but first they had one final run-through in preparation for Calhoun City.

The Yellowjackets are on a nine game winning streak and have won 30 of their last 31 games.

At the team's final practice of the season they spoke about a Bassfield tradition that sends the seniors out on a high note.

"That's our senior walk. They do that every year for our final ball game of the year," head coach Lance Mancuso said.

"You know, last time they'll get the opportunity to walk across this ground as a Bassfield Yellowjacket."

Senior Kameron Williams relished the opportunity to repeat as state champions.

"Well, of course with this being my senior year. Nothing like high school football. So, back-to-back. Hopefully another win this year. One of a kind."

Kickoff against the Wildcats is set for 3 p.m. tomorrow.
