(RNN) - Former South African President Nelson Mandela died at the age of 95 on Thursday.

Mandela was the first black president of South Africa and the first to win a fully free democratic election in the country. He served a single term from 1994 through 1999 and then retired from public life.

A coroner's report said Fast and Furious star Paul Walker died from injuries which included trauma and burns when the car he was riding in crashed and caught fire on Saturday. He was 40 years old.

Florida State quarterback Jameis Winston will not be facing rape charges. The woman who filed charges claimed she was raped in December 2012 and identified Winston as the suspect in January 2013. The state attorney said there wasn't enough evidence to pursue charges.
