Congratulations to the Southern Miss football team, coaches and staff for their 62 to 27 win against UAB on Saturday. We salute the team and especially those seniors who never gave up. In his post-game, locker room speech, head coach Todd Monken credited the team for always keeping a positive outlook and not taking anything for granted. He spoke of how tough winning truly is and how deserved his men and their staff are of this victory.  What made it even sweeter is that they won on the road against a team they have not beaten for 4 years. This is not just a welcomed end to the season, but a beginning and something to build on. Congratulations again to our Southern Miss Golden Eagles.
