CAUGHT ON CAM: Emergency officials rescue deer

WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) – Emergency officials took time Friday morning to rescue a deer that was stuck in a fence.

The deer was stuck between rungs of a fence in Oakdale Cemetery off of 15th Street in Wilmington.

Emergency officials used the Jaws of Life to pry the fence apart, allowing the deer to run free.
