Mayors bet on Iron Bowl, loser will donate to local charity

(WTVM) -

The mayors of Auburn and Tuscaloosa are betting some cold hard cash on Saturday's match up between Auburn University and the University of Alabama.

Auburn mayor Bill Ham and Tuscaloosa's Walt Maddox have placed $100 on the outcome of the Iron Bowl.

If Auburn wins, Mayor Maddox will donate the money to the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Lee County. If Alabama comes out on top, Mayor Ham will donate to the Tuscaloosa Pre-K Initiative
