Montgomery's first Color Vibe 5K draws big crowd

MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) -

Runners were treated to a colorful, fun-filled morning at the Montgomery Motorsports Park Saturday.

During the Color Vibe 5K run participants are  blasted with colored powder at stations along the course.

This was the first year for the event in Montgomery and participants believes the race will become even more popular next year.

Organizers say about 2,500 people participated in the event.
