Shooting in Montgomery leaves two men injured

MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) -

The Montgomery Police Department says a shooting Sunday morning left two men critically injured.

The shooting happened around 11:30 a.m. in the 3800 block of Smiley Circle.

Medic and police found the two adult males suffering from life-threatening gunshot wounds. Both were transported to local hospitals.

An initial investigation indicates that the victims were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated into an exchange of gunfire.

An investigation is ongoing and no other details are being released at this time.

    The new Miss Hospitality has been crowned in Hattiesburg.  She is Emma Grace McGrew, 18, of Booneville.
