Local musician needs help winning national competition

(Toledo News Now) -

A local musician is competing to win a national competition, but he needs support to do it.

Zach Fletcher, a singer, song writer and guitarist from Bowling Green, has enter the "Song Writers Across the Nation" competition, sponsored by Guitar Center.

The prize will $25,000 and a four song EP with award-winning producer Don Was, who has worked with artists such as Bob Dylan, The Rolling Stones and Stevie Nicks.

In order to win, his music video must be among the top viewed online.

Zach joins ‘Your Morning Saturday' to talk about his music career and perform.

You can vote for him by clicking here and watching his video. The competition ends at midnight, November 9.

Zach's next show is scheduled for Saturday, November 23, at the Stones Throw Bar & Grill in Bowling Green.
