Megan Hodge

After living in Florida all of her life, Megan is excited about her new adventure in Mississippi.  A native of Sebastian, Florida, Megan graduated from Sebastian River High School in 2009.  She then attended Florida State University and earned a degree in meteorology. She graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2013.

Megan has always been fascinated by the weather, especially after Hurricanes Frances and Jeanne made landfall very near her home.  Upon entering college, Megan realized that a career in broadcast meteorology would allow her to pursue both her goals: forecasting the weather and keeping people safe.  As soon as she began taking general meteorology classes, Megan was hooked.  "Combining my love of math and science with a way to protect the public into one job seems almost too good to be true," she says.

When not at work, Megan enjoys reading, cooking, and dancing.  She is a self-proclaimed weather geek and a Christian.  She also loves spending time with her friends, family, and especially her puppy.
