Margaret Ann Morgan is a native of McComb, MS and a graduate of the University of Mississippi, where she received a Bachelors of Arts in journalism with an emphasis in public relations and a minor in public policy leadership. At Ole Miss, she worked as a reporter and correspondent for the student media center's live nightly newscast, NewsWatch 99. Margaret Ann is a recipient of the distinguished Robert F. Kennedy Journalism Award for her work in San Pedro, Belize, where she and a group produced a depth-report magazine and five-day television series on the San Mateo Empowerment Project. She is also the recipient of the Society of Professional Journalists' Best Breaking News for her work on the Mississippi Gulf Coast during Hurricane Isaac and the Best Multimedia Reporter for the Southeastern Journalism Conference.

Margaret Ann has served as a news intern at WAPT in Jackson, MS, WGNO in New Orleans and WTVA in Tupelo, MS. While she enjoys covering all beats, her interests mainly lie in education and policy. Her mother was a long-time public school administrator, so the importance of strong school systems for a community is evident to Margaret Ann.

When she's not on-air, Margaret Ann enjoys running, traveling and cheering on the Ole Miss Rebels.
