Midday Guest: Tammy Carney, show choir director at Petal Middle School.

Today's Midday Guest today was Tammy Carney, show choir director at Petal Middle School.

Carney promoted the show choir's Singers Sprint 5k event.

The race will begin and end at Petal High School, and is open to all runners and walkers. Prizes will be awarded to the top three runners overall as well at the first and second place runners in each category.

All proceeds benefit the Choral Departments from Petal Middle and Petal High School.
