(RNN) - The band who wrote the soundtrack to your high school days is back to author the next emo chapter of your life.

Death Cab fans rejoice, Ben Gibbard and company are recording their eighth studio album.

The yet untitled album is the follow up to 2011's Codes and Keys.

We'll keep you posted on a release date.

In the meantime, no need to wait months on end for new music, or new old music. The band is re-releasing their 2003 album, Transatlanticism, which includes download codes for 11 unreleased demos of the album's tracks.

Transatlanticism, the 10th anniversary edition, drops Oct. 29 and will be available on vinyl and as a digital release.

Check out the Lightness demo on Soundcloud.

Gracie Lou Freebush can spit

As Miss Congeniality showed us, Sandra Bullock can save the world - or at least the Miss United States pageant - in heels and perfectly manicured nails. Her other, more hidden talents apparently include flawlessly busting a rhyme on national television.

On a recent appearance of the BBC's The Jonathan Ross Show, Bullock rapped the lyrics to Rapper's Delight, saying she learned them in high school to impress a guy.

"And sadly, it worked," she said.

As if you needed another reason to love her.

Get your synth on

Synth-pop trio Chvrches released their debut album The Bones of What You Believe last month. And their album release party has finally made it to YouTube.

Stream four of the band's tracks at London's Boiler Room, including its version of Whitney Houston's It's Not Right But It's Okay.

Livin' on an (answered) prayer

Branka Delic says she has two loves in her life – Gonzalo Cladera, the man she recently said "I do" to … and Bon Jovi, in her words it's "not necessarily in that order."

Delic recently started a petition online asking Jon Bon Jovi to walk her down the aisle at her Las Vegas wedding, which was taking place at the same chapel the singer married his wife more than two decades ago.

"All her life, Branka thought she would marry Bon Jovi himself. Sadly, at the age of 34 she realised (sic) this would never happen, and she accepted Gonzo's proposal instead," her website, bonjoviwalkmedowntheaisle.com, reads.

Since Bon Jovi happened to be playing in Vegas, he happily obliged.

Bon Jovi tweeted out a photo of he and Delic walking down the aisle and wishing the couple "a lifetime of happiness, love & memories together."

Delic tweeted that Bon Jovi is "An amazing man with an amazing generous heart."

We think he gives love a good ... well, you know.

And finally ...

The kids at Amplatz Children's Hospital in Minnesota know what it means to be brave.

They're fighting serious pediatric illnesses, all while keeping the light of childlike innocence alive.

The kids and staffers at the hospital showed everyone just how big their brave is in a new video they choreographed, set to Sara Bareilles' latest single, not so coincidentally titled Brave.

Watch and be inspired by these pint-sized survivors and the positivity they radiate.
