Midday Guest: Catherine Lott with the Dubard School

Today's Midday guest was Catherine Lott with the Dubard School.

Lott was promoting the Dubard School Speakeasy event, and the Sounds to Symbols 5k/10k and one mile run.

The Dubard School Speakeasy will be October 10 at 7 p.m. in the Trent Lott National Center. The speak-easy themed event will have a theme of "putting on the Ritz" with dancing the Charleston to live music, and food will be served.

The Sound to Symbols 5k/10k and one mile run will be October 12 at 8 a.m at the Southern Miss Payne Center. The ADP's Leadership Pine Belt group will assist with the race around the University. It will feature an awards ceremony, and live entertainment after the race. All proceeds will benefit the Dubard School.

For more information about The Dubard School Speakeasy event, or The Sounds to Symbols run, contact Catherine Lott at 601-266-5223.

As a freshman quarterback playing behind one of the best athletes to come through Columbia Academy in recent years, Thomas Erastus “Ras” Pace got his first career start in what was arguably the Cougars’ biggest game of the 2016 season. “I thought I did a pretty good job handing the ball off,” said Pace of his starting debut in a second-round MAIS AAA playoff game in place of the inured Wiley Cleland.
