Woman accused of calling in fake prescriptions

NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

A woman has been arrested after allegedly calling in fake prescriptions.

Kiara Stevenson was taken to jail overnight after a doctor told police that prescriptions were being called into a pharmacy without his permission.

Police waited for someone to pick up the prescription and Stevenson was allegedly the person who called it in.

Stevenson is facing a long list of charges, including identity theft, fraud and forgery.
