2 shot at Knollcrest Apartments in north Nashville

NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

Metro police are investigating after two people were shot Monday afternoon at an apartment complex in north Nashville.

The shooting was reported after 1 p.m. at the Knollcrest Apartments, in the 3300 block of Creekwood Drive.

Officials have not released any other information, including the victims' condition or details on possible suspects. They are hoping those who witnessed the shooting will come forward.

"We know someone knows who it is. We know what kind of car it is, and they know who was in it. We just need someone to come forward with that information," said Metro police Sgt. Chris Steele.
