BILOXI, MS (WLOX) -

A man who police say led them on a high speed chase through Biloxi was captured Tuesday when he got out of his truck and was cornered by a Biloxi K-9. Kenneth Darryl Anderson, 28, is charged with felony eluding a law enforcement officer.

Investigators said Anderson was already known to be a wanted fugitive on a prior felony fraud charge. So when officers spotted him Tuesday on Division Street, they said he sped off in a red Ford F-150. The officers followed and Anderson was eventually caught by a Biloxi K-9 when he got out of the truck and tried to run away.

He was treated for minor injuries, then taken to the Harrison County Adult Detention Center where he's being held on $100,000 bond.
