Well, there's no way Southern Miss can extend their losing streak or put and end to it today.
With the open week players and coaches are free to do whatever they please this Saturday.
Like most sports fans, the options boil down to watching a full slate of college football games and spending time with family.
Head coach Todd Monken and his staff plan to watch games at his house and do what you'd expect a bunch of college coaches to do when they gather together.
"Some guys that are still in town are gonna come over and we'll watch football games and b**** and complain about those coaches and things they don't do. That's part of it," Monken joked after the team's scheduled activities Thursday.
"You know we become fans. So, I like watching football. I'm a big fan and we get a chance to be with our families for a Saturday. It's a job what we do. We understand that, but we also have our own lives and we'll have fun on Saturday and get back after it Sunday."
The Golden Eagles face off against Boise State on the road September 28. Kickoff is set for 9:15 p.m.
