AMBER Alert canceled after suspect surrenders

HOLMES COUNTY, MS (WLOX) -

The AMBER Alert for a missing Holmes County child has been canceled. The alert was issued Monday night for six-year-old Sirvontez Adams.

Authorities said the man who had the child turned himself in after seeing the AMBER Alert issued.

Investigators had identified the alleged abductor as the boy's father, 43-year-old Terrell Milton Adams.
