Everyone gets sore throats, so we wanted to share some quick remedies.

You know how your mother always told you to gargle with some salt water? Well, that really does work.

Take warm water and put a spoon full of salt into it. Let it dissolve in the warm water and gargle. It works because as it's bathing over the inflamed throat, it will draw out the excess fluid and lessen the inflammation.

Honey is another remedy that works to soothe your sore throats. As the honey goes down it coats the throat and gives temporary relief from the soreness.

Another remedy that is less known: Marshmallows. When you chew a marshmallow, it releases gelatin and when this gelatin coats your throat, it also results in temporary relief.
