Work center trusty steals van, escapes in Forrest County

HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) - Forrest county deputies are on the lookout for a work center trusty who escaped by stealing a Hattiesburg city owned van from a local park Friday.

Micah Lee Bolton, 26, of Beaumont is serving a 4-year sentence for delivery of a controlled substance in George county. Bolton apparently stole a city owned 2006 white Dodge Caravan with parks and recreation logos on the side. The van has government tag number G43-834. Bolton is described as 6'3, 260 pounds, with multiple tattoos on his chest and shoulder. He was last seen wearing MDOC issued green and white stripped pants and white MDOC convict shirt.
